MASSILLON, Ohio (June 10, 2004) — Standards Testing Laboratories (STL) has formally announced appointments for four executives.
The new assignments had been instituted over a period of time, some as far back as late last year or early this year, but a spokeswoman said the announcement is a clarification of who fills which roles.
Cheryl Schnuth is vice president, marketing/technical sales. She most recently had been vice president, testing. In her current position, Ms. Schnuth is responsible for domestic and worldwide marketing plans for the company's Massillon subsidiaries and divisions.
Doug Garven is vice president, sales and technical services for TTI, Standards' San Angelo, Texas, division. He previously had been vice president, marketing for STL. He is now responsible for coordination and sales for TTI and also will serve as technical manager.
Don Petit is director, quality and safety for STL and is responsible for overseeing lab operations. He is retired from Continental Tire North America Inc.
Chuck Phillips is STL's lab manager, responsible for the day-to-day lab operations. He has been with STL for more than 10 years.
STL independently tests tires, wheels and related automotive components.
