WAYNE, N.J. (May 6, 2004) — Hankook Tire America Corp. will raise prices on its full line of passenger, high performance, light truck and medium truck tires by 3 percent, effective July 1.
The increases reflect the industry's rising costs in raw materials, shipping and general operations, the Wayne-based tire maker said.
“Even with this price increase, we remain committed to offering competitive products at competitive prices,” said Bill Bainbridge, Hankook marketing director. “We're working hard to control our costs and at the same time expand our capacity in order to improve distribution and customer service.”
