DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (March 18, 2004) — The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) is offering its “2004 Ultimate Wheel & Tire Plus-Sizing Guide” to members at a discounted rate.
Aftermarket wheel and tire packages being installed on today's vehicles can sometimes push the limits, according to Diamond Bar-based SEMA. “Large tires and rims are on the cover of many automotive magazines fueling the enthusiasts' desire to add those packages to their own rides. Companies that install large wheels and tires to a vehicle must do so in a safe and knowledgeable manner to prevent potential problems.”
To assist installers, the association is making its guide available to members at the discounted rate of $38, plus shipping and handling. Developed by Wheel Consultants, the guide is a resource providing suggested plus-sizes, diameters and section-height and -width ratings for many 2004 vehicles.
Copies of the guide can be ordered by contacting SEMA's Shirley Presecan, via e-mail, at [email protected]
