K&M Tire hosts dealer meeting
CHICAGO-Thirty-seven Chicago-area tire dealers met with wholesaler K&M Tire Inc. Dec. 12 to discuss the Best-One Tire & Service retail dealer network marketing group, the Goodyear G3 program and financial strategies.
Delphos, Ohio-based K&M Tire is part of the Best-One program, developed by Zurcher Tire of Monroe, Ind. The meeting also dealt with presentations on financial, cash flow and ratios and how to apply, analyze and read them, K&M Tire said.
``We want to help the dealers understand the financial side of the business,'' said Ken Langhals, president of the wholesaler. ``If they understand cash flow and how to read their financials, I feel it will make their company stronger, and the stronger their company is, the more tires they should be buying and the easier it should be for them to pay their bills. It's a win-win situation for everyone.''
Dealers also received gifts, such as shirts, sets of tires and a Goodyear lighted sign. Dan Catberro of Grand Tire won a grand prize 2004 Anniversary Edition Ford Mustang.
