WASHINGTON (Jan. 22, 2004) — The Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) has announced a series of scrap tire conferences for 2004, in conjunction with other national, state and regional groups.
These include the Asphalt Rubber Symposia in Grand Rapids, Mich., May 18-19; the 2nd Heartlands Regional Tire Management Conference in Omaha, Neb., June 2-4; the New York State/Northeast Regional Scrap Tire Conference in Albany, N.Y., June 15-16; the Scrap Tire Track at the Air & Waste Management Annual Conference, in Indianapolis, June 23; the Bi-Annual Rubber Conference, in association with the Rubber Association of Canada, in Banff, Alberta, in September; the Symposia on Advanced Ground Rubber Technologies at the American Chemical Society's fall meeting in Columbus, Ohio, in October; and an educational training seminar on civil engineering applications, asphalt rubber and tire-derived fuel, in Nashville, Tenn., on a date to be announced.
