LAS VEGAS (Jan. 19, 2004) — Jeffrey Runge, administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, will be the keynote speaker at the 2004 Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA)/General Products Group meeting, to be held at the Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Feb. 29-March 2.
Other speakers at the meeting will include Martin Regalia, chief economist at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and Robert Kriegel, economic commentator for National Public Radio.
Various RMA and rubber industry initiatives also will be discussed at the meeting, including recruitment efforts for rubber technology students at Ferris State University and updates from the RMA's belt, hose and seal committees.
