DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (Jan. 19, 2004) — The Specialty Equipment Market Association on Feb. 9 will open online space selection for exhibitors at the 2004 SEMA show, slated for Nov. 2-5 in Las Vegas.
Exhibit selections will be made according to a company's seniority as a SEMA show exhibitor and their membership in SEMA or the Tire Industry Association, the Diamond Bar-based trade group said.
Companies that have sent in their space agreement and deposit will receive notice of a prescheduled call time from show management. During the actual space selection, the company representative will call a show account executive to select a location while viewing the show's floor plan on the Internet, SEMA said. Exhibitors previously had to attend the space drawing in person.
“Technology has advanced to the point where selecting space for the SEMA show online is easier than ever before,” said Peter MacGillivray, vice president of marketing and communications.
