-Bauer Built Inc. has announced several staff changes within its Tire Division.
Tad Bauer was named executive vice president, tire marketing and logistics, effective Jan. 1. His responsibilities will include the division's marketing, purchasing, transportation and warehouse divisions. He has held several positions with the company since 1990.
Todd Weber was named regional store director for the company's north region. In this post, Mr. Weber will be responsible for 10 tire centers in Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota. He has been with Bauer Built since 1986. Replacing Mr. Weber as store manager at the tire center in Waukesha, Wis., is Mike Weber, who has been assistant manager/commercial sales in Waukesha the past two years. He has been with the company since 1994.
Durand-based Bauer Built also hired two new store managers recently, including Don Stoeckel, who will manage the tire center in Des Moines, Iowa. He was most recently with Goodyear's Wingfoot commercial tire operation. Mark Vitosh, who will manage the Bauer Built store in Lincoln, Neb., had been with the Farmer's Union Cooperatives Supply Co. in Beatrice, Neb., since 1989.
Durand-based Bauer Built operates 27 tire centers, nine wholesale distribution centers and seven Michelin Retread Technologies Inc. retread plants, as well as a petroleum division with eight convenience stores. Jerry Bauer is the dealership's president.
