LANGLEY, B.C. (Dec. 30, 2003) — O.K. Tire Stores Inc. was named the preferred place of business in the 2003 automobile tire retailer category of the Consumers' Choice Award, the Langley-based company said.
The annual award is presented by the Consumers Choice Institute (Canada) and the Consumers Choice Institute (U.S.A.). The groups survey consumers in major cities and ask open-ended questions about which business they consider best in each category, the groups' Web site said. The process is aimed at garnering true consumer opinion, the groups said, instead of a determination by a panel of judges.
This year is the third consecutive win for O.K. Tire in its category, the company said.
