AKRON (Dec. 22, 2003) — The president of Goodyear's Canada division has been named vice president of a newly formed off-highway business unit within the tire maker's North American Tire (NAT) unit.
Chuck Mick, formerly president of Goodyear Canada Inc., will head the business unit, which includes farm tire, global aviation and global off-the-road businesses. He will report to Jon Rich, president of NAT.
James Coulter, formerly vice president, finance and administration, will replace Mr. Mick as president of Goodyear Canada.
The following appointments also were announced at Goodyear Canada:
* Linda Alexander, formerly director, treasury and general credit manager, to vice president finance and administration.
* Gus Liotta, formerly general manager, consumer marketing, to director, consumer tires, Canada. He replaces Rick Houle, who retired.
* J.B. Jaboor, formerly general manager, farm tires, to director, commercial systems and off-highway, Canada.
