ASA 'chats' with members
BEDFORD, TEXAS-The Automotive Service Association (ASA) has launched a new member benefit designed to make the association even more accessible to its members.
The Bedford-based organization has added a new communications tool to its Web site, www.asashop.org, whereby members can use instant messaging technology to chat with a representative from ASA's membership department.
The online instant messaging feature is accessible Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (CST). Individuals can access the new communications feature from several areas of the Web site, including Members Only, Membership Benefits and Membership Information.
With the click of a button, users will be instantly connected with an ASA representative who can provide information about ASA and its more than 30 member benefits. This new system provides one-on-one communication and an immediate response to inquiries. ``ASA is a member-first organization that's committed to being responsive to every single member,'' said John Scully, ASA's vice president of member services and operations. ``This new Web communication tool will enable us to increase our accessibility to shop owners who need information quickly.''
