Beginning this month, Michelin North America Inc. said the BFGoodrich Traction T/A will replace the brand's Comp T/A VR4, Comp T/A HR4, Touring T/A VR4, Touring T/A HR4, Touring T/A TR4 and Touring T/A SR4 tires. It also will replace the Control T/A M80 line beginning in 2004. Introduced in 2000 as the spec tire for the American Speed Association racing series, the tire will be original equipment on the 2005 Ford Mustang, Chrysler Pacifica and Honda CR-V.
