LEXINGTON, Neb. (Sept. 5, 2003)—Nebraskaland/Kansasland Tire Group will add one store under its Kansasland moniker and change two existing stores to its Nebraskaland nameplate.
Gary Wright, president of the Lexington-based commercial and retail dealership, said the company bought four Pro Tire & Auto Service locations in October 2002. Two of the locations—in Fort Morgan, Colo., and Alliance, Neb.—have since been closed, and the remaining two—in Chadron, Neb., and Scottsbluff, Neb.—will be renamed under Nebraskaland Tire in the coming months, Mr. Wright said.
Under its Kansasland name, the company plans to open a store in Concordia, Kan. The dealership recently bought Christensen Oil Co. Inc., and the store is being re-opened as Kansasland Tire, Mr. Wright said.
