AKRON (Aug. 28, 2003) — Goodyear is restructuring its financial department with four management changes to help support its overall turnaround.
Richard Kramer has been named senior vice president, strategic planning and restructuring. He had served as vice president of finance for Goodyear's North American Tire unit. Mr. Kramer joined Goodyear in March 2000 as vice president, corporate finance, after 13 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He led the finance team of Goodyear's largest business unit since July 2002.
Michael Rajkovic will replace Mr. Kramer as vice president of finance for North American Tire, effective Sept. 1, the company said. He most recently served as director of exterior products manufacturing and direct ship operations for Visteon Corp. He has about 20 years of financial management experience in the automotive industry, according to Goodyear.
Thomas Connell will be vice president and controller for the Akron-based tire maker, effective Sept. 1. Mr. Connell, who most recently worked as vice president and corporate controller for TRW Inc., will fill a position that has been vacant for a few years, a Goodyear spokesman said. Mr. Connell worked for TRW since 1979.
Vincent Ciccolini was named director of auditing for Goodyear, effective Sept. 1. He has been director of corporate reporting for the tire maker since September 2002.
