NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 5, 2003)—Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire announced three staff changes within its consumer replacement tire and truck tire sales organizations.
Art Campagnoni was promoted to director, truck tire sales from his former position as regional general manager—North-Central region. In his new post, Mr. Campagnoni will oversee original equipment and replacement truck tire sales in the U.S. and Canada.
John Baratta was named director, consumer tire sales, retail. He previously had been general manager, distributor key accounts. In his post, Mr. Baratta will be responsible for sales to the company's retail dealers, including corporate accounts. Both current retail regions, headquartered in Dallas and Chicago, will report to Mr. Baratta, as will the corporate account group.
Rudy Beach was named director, consumer tire sales, distributor key accounts. Prior to this post, he had served as general manager, distributor key accounts. He will now be responsible for sales to the tire maker's wholesale distributors, and he will be supported by three key account general managers.
All three employees are 20-year veterans with Bridgestone/Firestone, the Nashville-based tire maker said.
