BEDFORD, Texas (June 26, 2003) — The theme of the 2003 Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) will be “Automotive Service—The Next Generation.”
The Automotive Service Association (ASA) said the educational event and supplier showcase will be Nov. 6-8 at the Tropicana Resort & Casino in Las Vegas as part of Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week. The mechanical division of the ASA sponsors the event.
“In keeping with the theme, CARS 2003 will be forward looking,” said Ron Pyle, ASA president. “The next generation of automotive service is not something that's far away and intangible. We're already at the threshold, and there's no turning back for those who want to be in business and thriving five years from now.”
CARS will include three days of Automotive Management Institute seminars and 10 technical classes, Bedford-based ASA said. More than 50 companies are expected to participate in the showcase.
