Alabama group plans spring meeting
MILLBROOK, Ala.-The Alabama Tire Dealers Association will hold a spring meeting and golf tournament for its members and their spouses.
The event, slated for March 21-22 at the Legends Golf Resort at Capitol Hill in Prattville, Ala., will include insurance seminars from Troy Harris of Harris Insurance Agency; Jeff Miller of Air Med Assistance; and Don Pierini of UBS PaineWebber.
The golf tournament will be held at the Robert Trent Jones golf course. A cruise down the Alabama River will be offered as an option to non-golfers.
ATDA is looking for golf outing sponsors. Hole sponsorships are $250 and sponsorships of the reception and hole party also are available.

New England meeting coming in April
ELIOT, Maine-The New England Tire & Service Association's annual trade show and convention will feature a Monte Carlo night and family carnival attractions.
Slated for April 11-12, the convention also will feature seminars on ``Increasing your profits through enhanced sales practices,'' ``How to keep your customer from owning your business'' and ``Utilizing better software to enhance your bottom line.''
Becky MacDicken, director of government affairs for the Tire Industry Association, will present the keynote address: ``What You Need to Know About the TREAD Act Before Opening Your Business on Monday.''
