In a report on page 3 of the Feb. 3 issue of Tire Business about Group Michelin's plans to purchase a 10-percent stake in Hankook Tire Co. Ltd.'s share capital, the last three words in the story's final paragraph were dropped inadvertently. It should have read: Hankook CEO and President Choong-Hwan Cho ``added that for Hankook, the Michelin alliance will play an important role in his company's growth into one of the major players in the global tire business.''
The Top Franchise/Marketing Groups chart in the Feb. 3 Market Data Book omitted Keene, N.H.-based Tire Warehouse Central Inc. The group has 26 franchisees, with plans to add two or three more in 2003, according to President Robert A. Dabrowski. The group's Web site is at www.tirewarehouse.net.
