NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 4, 2003) — Tokyo-based Bridgestone Corp. has launched a Web site dedicated to the Ferrari Enzo, which is factory equipped with Bridgestone tires.
The site — www.forzarossa-bridgestone.com — is part of a systematic program of global branding for the Bridgestone Group, according to Bridgestone/Firestone. That program provides for establishing the Bridgestone name as a worldwide corporate identity for the group while continuing to promote products under the Bridgestone, Firestone and other brands, the company said. A link to the new site also can be found at Bridgestone's Web site, www.bridgestone-firestone.com.
Ferrari presently equips the Enzo exclusively with Bridgestone tires. On the race track, BFS said the partnership between the two companies has produced four consecutive constructors' championships in Formula One (F1) competition.
The Forzarossa Web site includes several articles about the Enzo Ferrari drawn from diverse media. Bridgestone said it will supplement those articles with interviews with engineers responsible for the development of the vehicle and its tires.
Links to the Forzarossa Web site will appear on the Bridgestone and Ferrari corporate Web sites at www.bridgestone.co.jp and www.ferrariworld.com.
