Regarding the letter to the editor in the Jan. 20 issue from the officers of the Tire Industry Association, TIA is right on target with its concerns regarding tire pressure monitoring systems. Consumers should not wait for a light or bell to inform them of a pressure problem in their tires.
If you were to wait for the engine oil light to come on before checking the level, you soon would be in trouble.
People know better. Let not complacency rule!
