CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Jan. 31, 2003)—Dealers will be able to show customers more options when it comes to envisioning a cars' makeover as part of an expanded program by American Tire Distributors.
ATD has added features to its online Wheel Wizard aftermarket customizing resource. The service, which was introduced in 1998, allows dealers to show customers how custom wheels would look on their vehicle.
The new features include a “paint booth” including factory and custom shades as well as wheels searchable by manufacturer and brand. ATD said the resource also includes installation tips for dealers and more than 18,000 vehicle combinations based on vehicle year, make, model and available options.
