NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Dec. 26, 2002)—Bridgestone/Firestone is highlighting its two major brands in New York City's Times Square.
The Nashville-based company said it placed a two-sided billboard six stories above the street in November in a spot that can be seen during television broadcasts from Times Square. One side of the billboard features the Bridgestone brand and the other side highlights Firestone. The billboard will remain up throughout 2003.
“By placing these billboards in Times Square, we are giving tremendous recognition to our major brands,” said Phil Pacsi, executive director of consumer tire brand marketing for BFS.
