AKRON (Nov. 1, 2002)—Goodyear is raising the prices of all of its consumer tires 4 to 5 percent as a result of increasing raw material costs. The price hikes cover Goodyear, Dunlop and Kelly and all associate brands and will take effect with orders placed on or after Dec. 1.
Company officials recently told securities analysts Goodyear anticipates 5- to 7-percent higher raw materials costs in coming months. (See related story dated Oct. 31.)&Copy;
