Made to fit more than 2,800 import makes and models from Acura to Volvo, the line offers complete coverage of mufflers, catalytic converters, pipes and accessories.

The systems are made to original equipment manufacturers' specifications and use a precision-fit, one-piece configuration that eliminates labor-intensive pipe bending, welding and cutting, Bosal said.

The company also has introduced the Bosal Prosport Performance Muffler line, available in a variety of styles to suit a range of applications for performance cars and light trucks.

The line features eight styles, including dual end style tip, Bosal said. The mufflers use a free-flow design with a tuned expansion chamber for better torque, higher horsepower and a high-performance tone. They are made with 16-gauge 304 stainless steel.

Bosal also has published a full-line catalog featuring direct-fit replacement import mufflers, catalytic converters, pipes and accessories.

    Wrench

Snap-on Tools Co. has introduced the IMC500 1/2-inch Square Drive Impact Wrench.

The wrench offers technicians the ability to fasten and remove lug nuts, bolts and screws more accurately and quickly, the company said. The unit's patented muffler bypass system allows users to run the impact wrench in either quiet or open mode.

In the quiet, or closed, mode the exhaust runs through the handle, which diminishes the sound and provides quieter operation, Snap-on said. When the job requires more power, technicians can bypass the muffler and add 25 foot pounds of forward torque and 20 foot pounds of reverse torque.

At full power, the product achieves a total of 525 foot pounds of forward torque and 620 foot pounds of reverse torque.

With an ergonomic design, the wrench's ribbed and textured handle offers grip, user control and insulates against extreme heat and vibration.
