AKRON (Oct. 1, 2002) — Warren Croyle, a 21-year Goodyear veteran, has been named marketing manager for Kelly brand tires. He will oversee promotional management and marketing direction for all lines of Kelly auto and light truck tires.
Mr. Croyle most recently was product operations manager, consumer tires, for Goodyear's North American Tire unit. He has held positions in high-performance tires, advanced engineering and race tire design with the company.
As a senior engineer Mr. Croyle was on design teams that developed the Eagle F1 GS, Eagle GS-C and Eagle Aquatred tire lines, Goodyear said.
Taking over the product operations manager spot is Keith Lyles, who most recently served as a financial analyst in new business development and integration. Mr. Lyles started with the tire maker in 1993 as project auditor at the company's Gadsden, Ala., manufacturing plant, then spent two years at the Topeka, Kan., plant.
Mr. Croyle will report to Mark McDonald, Kelly marketing director. Mr. Lyles will report to Kevin Kramer, director, marketing operations, for North American Tire.
