DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (Sept. 5, 2002) — The Specialty Equipment Market Association has redesigned the Web site for its annual trade show to include “everything but tangible products and live people,” according to a SEMA spokesman.
“Our comprehensive site provides everything an exhibitor or an attendee needs to know before he or she gets to Las Vegas," said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA vice president of sales and marketing.
This year's SEMA show will take place Nov. 5-8 in Las Vegas.
Show Exhibitors can access pertinent dates and times, the floor plan, regulations, and update their own exhibit data.
For the attendees, the show Web site provides on-line registration for $10 (discounted from $50) until Sept. 27, and a personal on-line briefcase that helps people plan their show itinerary and map their route through the four-day show, SEMA said.
The show floor plan shows the locations of the approximately 1,400 exhibits in the Las Vegas Convention Center. Information about travel and accommodations is available to all parties visiting the site. The site also has a schedule of all show events.
The site, www.semashow.com, also has initial information about the 2003 SEMA Show, to be held Nov. 4-7, 2003.
