Snap-on Tools Co. has introduced the FAR7200 3/8-inch-drive air ratchet for a variety of automotive repair and industrial applications.
The FAR7200 operates in two different modes.
In ``quiet'' mode, the unit achieves from five to 50 pounds of torque at 200 rpm and operates with reduced noise levels.
In ``open'' mode, the FAR7200 bypasses its muffler and produces from five to 70 pounds of torque at 260 rpm for jobs that require maximum power, Snap-on said. The tool also features a manual function providing up to 135 pounds of torque.
The unit has a cushioned grip and contoured handle to reduce vibration, insulate against high temperatures and increase comfort, the company said.

Matco Tools Inc. has introduced a threesome of tool sets: a 10-piece, 1/4-inch-drive SAE chrome mid-length socket set; a 12-piece, six-point, 1/4-inch metric chrome mid-length socket set and the Master Bolt Grip Set.
The SAE socket set (model SAI106T) applies torque to the fastener sides, not corners, allowing more torque to fastener and longer service life, Matco said.
The 12-piece set (model SAIM126T) features a narrow outside diameter to reach tight areas and is able to distribute torque stress throughout the socket, extending socket life, the company said.
The Master Bolt Grip Set (model MST6501) covers most bolt grip-pulling applications.
It includes a heavy-duty forged three-way puller flange, two live center forcing screws, four live center adapters, 11 sets of heavy-duty, washer head, hardened steel bolts, and a set of shoulder bolts.

The tool includes a 9-inch steel extension tube with a molded handle and standard zerk.
The Lube Tube reaches fittings out of reach of ordinary grease gun barrels and provides grip to seat the coupler on stubborn fittings as well as pulling the coupler off, Thexton said.
