DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (Aug. 29, 2002) — The National Hot Rod Association, will hold “The Sport and the Stars: Today and Tomorrow” breakfast on Wed., Nov. 6, from 7:30-9:00 a.m. in the Las Vegas Hilton. Young drivers from NHRA's national POWERade Series and the new Summit Sport Compact Series will be featured speakers.
“We're pleased to be back at the SEMA Show again this year, and look forward to have the drag racing fans who
attend the SEMA Show join us for coffee and doughnuts on the second day of the show,” said Gary Darcy, NHRA vice
president of marketing. “Several young drivers from our POWERade national series, as well as some of the new star drivers from our Summit Sport Compact Series, will be there with us to talk about the future of our sport.”
There is no charge to attend, but the NHRA and the Specialty Equipment Market Association require that attendees have tickets, which can be ordered through the Special Events Reservation Form on www.semashow.com or by requesting a reservation from SEMA at (909) 396-0289.
The 2002 SEMA Show will be held Nov. 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Show hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.
