DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (Aug. 12, 2002) — Attendees at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) trade show Nov. 5-8 in Las Vegas will be able to gather data from the 1,400 or so exhibitors in two formats, SEMA announced.
The SEMA show directory will be available on CD as well as in the traditional hard copy format.
"We know that many of the buyers attending the SEMA Show prefer an on-screen directory for their year-round use,” said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA vice president of sales and marketing. “But there are many people who like to keep a printed copy handy."
Both formats will be available at no charge to registered show attendees at the show's registration center, as well as in multiple locations throughout the Las Vegas Convention Center, where the show is held, SEMA said. Attendees will be able to download show information to personal digital assistants from kiosks throughout the show. A SEMA Show/AAPEX pocket guide will also be available.
Show exhibits this year will be organized differently, SEMA said. The show will contain 10 sections, grouped by product category or by products for vehicle categories to help buyers work efficiently. Icons for each section will help direct attendees through the Show.
The 2002 SEMA Show will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Complete details about the SEMA Show are available at www.semashow.com, or from SEMA at (909) 396-0289.
