BERKELEY, Calif. (Aug. 6, 2002)—Bridgestone/Firestone has rolled out its latest light truck and sport utility vehicle tire, the Dueler A/T Revo.
During the week of July 29, the company introduced the tire to its retail store managers, dealers and the media during a series of meetings and demonstrations in the Napa Valley and San Francisco Bay areas. The tire first became available to consumers Aug. 1.
Billed as the “Civilized Premium” all-terrain tire, the company said that Dueler A/T Revo provides ultimate performance when driven either on highways or off-road. The tire features Bridgestone/Firestone's UNI-T AQII technology and a duel layer tread compound. These features, the company said, provide improved grip, wet and dry traction, cut resistance and braking, even when worn.
Available in 14 P-metric and 13 L-metric sizes, the A/T Revo joins six other Dueler light truck and SUV tires designed to meet high-performance, on-highway, all-terrain, off-road and winter driving needs.
