Continental Tire North America has debuted four replacement tires for its Brigadier private label line, including two truck and two passenger tires.
New to the light truck market are the Sidewinder SUV and Sidewinder All Terrain. Under its Minerva line, the company is introducing Minerva Star and Minerva Super passenger tires.
The Brigadier line is marketed in North America by Independent Tire Sales of Wheeling, W.Va.
The Sidewinder SUV, with 19 P-metric and three LT sizes, features an outlined white letter sidewall and is M&S-rated for all-season performance. Set to debut Aug. 1, it will replace the Side-winder AP and AS designs.
The Sidewinder All Terrain has two P-metric, four flotation and nine LT sizes. With interlocking tread blocks, it offers improved traction in mud, sand and snow, Conti said. Available this fall, it replaces the Sidewinder AT.
The Minerva Star and Minerva Super come in T and H speed ratings and in 60-, 65- and 70- series sizes. The line is produced by Conti in Europe and eventually will be expanded to include 40-, 45-, 50- and 55-series sizes.
The line currently is in stock and will be shipped out of Conti's Gainesville, Ga., mixing warehouse and distributed as part of the Brigadier program.
