AAIA elects new officers
BETHESDA, Md.-The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) has elected new officers to its 2002-2003 board during the group's annual meeting in Carlsbad, Calif.
They include: Lou Merz of Aftermarket Growth Concepts, chairman; Michael Moshontz of Blue Magic Inc., vice chairman; David Caracci of Robert Bosch Corp., vice president; J. Richard Fairbanks Jr. of Orleans Auto Supply, vice president; Steve Handschuh of NAPA, vice president; J. David Bell of Erie Drive Train Inc., secretary; and Joe Groberek of Great Lakes Representatives, treasurer.
Frohlich ASA chairman
BEDFORD, Texas-The Automotive Service Association has named Dan Frohlich, owner of A.R.S. Automotive in Pittsburgh, chairman of the group's board of directors for 2002-2003.
Mr. Frohlich succeeds Jim Keller, who moves to the Bedford-based association's past chairman's seat.
Other members of the group's 2002-2003 board include: Kevin Caldwell of Autobody by Caldwell Inc. in Laguna Hills, Calif., chairman-elect; and Geralynn Kottschade of Jerry's Body Shop Inc. in Mankato, Minn., secretary/treasurer.
