AKRON (March 7, 2002)— ATV Magazine has named the Polaris Sportsman 700 Twin its ATV of the Year. The vehicle features Goodyear Rawhide Grip tires as standard equipment.

“This highly respected award underscores the contribution that Goodyear is making to this popular and hard-working vehicle,” he said.
The Sportsman 700 Twin rides on the Goodyear Rawhide Grip, sizes AT25x8-12 (front) and AT25x11-12 (rear).
The magazine also detailed the results of its “Super Seven Shootout,” a comparison of the performance of some of the top ATV models on the market. Goodyear tires again drew praise.
“Polaris brought out the most aggressive tire design we've ever seen on a stock machine,” the publication said. “These big meats help you get the most out of that twin-cylinder engine in all trail conditions. We conducted this test through sand, mud, rocks and wet grass, and the Sportsman's new tires were always gripping below us.”
