LANGLEY, British Columbia (Feb. 8, 2002)—O.K. Tire Stores Inc. has named Roger Jennings its franchise representative for Alberta and British Columbia.
Mr. Jennings previously held a variety of sales and distribution positions throughout Western Canada. Most recently he served as territory manager for Pirelli Tire, Inc.'s Canada division.
“With the addition of Roger to our team and the focus that he will be putting on the growth of our store base in British Columbia and Alberta, we are making sure that no stone is left unturned as it pertains to potential new O.K. Tire Stores franchises,” said Wayne Barnes, O.K.'s regional sales manager, sales and franchising, Western Canada.
Ken MacLeod, O.K.'s CEO, said expansion of its franchise network is among the Langley-based company's goals and that Mr. Jennings' appointment would aid in that pursuit.
O.K. Tire Stores is a Canadian dealer-owned company with 215 independent tire and auto service outlets throughout Canada. It annual retail sales are in excess of $250 million.
