GREENVILLE, S.C. (Jan. 14, 2002)—Michelin Americas Truck Tires, a unit of Michelin North America, Inc., is increasing prices by up to 3 percent on its commercial truck tires sold to the U.S. replacement market.
The increase, which includes the Michelin and BFGoodrich tire brands, will take effect March 1, the company said.
In December, Michelin American Small tires, the Greenville tire maker's small-tire business unit, announced a price hike of up to 6 percent on replacement passenger and light truck tires, also effective March 1. That price hike will affect Michelin, Uniroyal, BFGoodrich as well as private and associate brands.
