WASHINGTON (Sept. 14, 2001)—The Rubber Manufacturers Association has contributed $25,000 to the American Red Cross to aid in relief efforts related to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
RMA President Donald Shea sent the money to Michael S. Olson, who chairs a program at the American Society of Association Executives to collect donations to the Red Cross. In a letter, Mr. Shea asked Mr. Olson to accept the check “on behalf of the members of the RMA as a contribution to the heroic relief efforts undertaken by citizens throughout this great country.”
