TRIB to participate in conferences
PACIFIC GROVE, Calif.-The Tire Retread Information Bureau is planning public appearances during September and October.
Harvey Brodsky, managing director of TRIB, will be a featured speaker at the General Services Administration (GSA) Greening the Government Workshop, Sept. 18 in Auburn, Wash. Mr. Brodsky's presentation will focus on the environmental and economic benefits offered by retreaded tires.
``Our continued involvement with GSA is beginning to really show major benefits for the retread industry and the government,'' Mr. Brodsky said. ``More and more federal fleet vehicles are now routinely using retreaded tires, saving the government serious money, while at the same time helping the environment.''
The presentation will be followed by a tour of a retread plant in the area.
TRIB also will exhibit at the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance annual conference, Oct. 1-3 at the Hyatt Islandia Hotel in San Diego.
Approximately 500 government officials who deal with vehicle safety and inspections from all over North America are expected to attend. All TRIB members are invited to attend and participate in the TRIB booth during the conference. For more information, contact TRIB at (888) 473-8732 or [email protected]
