Register for ASE exams at 700 sites
HERNDON, Va.-The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence will offer its certification tests Nov. 8, 13 and 15 at 700 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Registration deadline is Sept. 28.
ASE offers more than 40 certification tests in the following specialties: automobile, medium/ heavy truck, truck equipment, school bus, collision repair and refinish, engine machinist, alternate fuels/CNG, parts specialist and advanced series.

The Diamond Bar, Calif.-based Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) has introduced to members the CarCareONE consumer private-label credit card program through GE Card Services, called one of the nation's leading private-label credit card providers.
The program allows customers to get a line of credit that can be used for any repairs, service or related products, SEMA said, including routine maintenance, bodywork not covered by insurance, parts, labor charges, tires and accessories.
Castrol North America has signed an agreement with New Jersey-based LUBExpress to be a primary supplier of premium lubricants.
The chain's nine central New Jersey stores offer preventative fluid maintenance service-oil, transmission and coolant fluid exchanges, air and fuel filters and belts.
