AKRON (April 10, 2001)- - Goodyear Commercial Systems has named Al Matson and Skip Francesconi to new positions of customer service manager, commercial systems, responsible for providing commercial systems-related support to all channels and channel managers in North American Tire.
This includes working with the strategic pricing group on end-user price supports, and with shared services associates on billing opportunities and credit issues, the company said.
Mr. Matson, a 27-year Goodyear veteran, has held recent positions as a production planner, sales and service manager for aircraft tires, and manager of operations for Goodyear's commercial tire and service centers.
Most recently, Mr. Francesconi was account executive, mileage sales. He started his Goodyear career in 1975 in the retail store division. Other positions held include field auditor, operations manager – wholesale tire centers, and customer account representative.
