Canada dealers launch Web site
BANFF, Alberta—The Western Canada Tire Dealers launched a Web site and member extranet communication network at its annual general meeting in Banff Feb. 23.
The site, www.wctd.ca, has two components: a public site to inform consumers about issues relating to safety performance, and the level of training they can expect by doing business with WCTD members.
The group said the extranet provides a secure communication network for members to do the following functions: transact association business; obtain resource information specific to their business; complete online transactions with WCTD-endorsed suppliers; place classified ads online specific to the member's business; and communicate with the WCTD's executive and board members.
