Firm offers new compliance guides
FINDLAY, Ohio—Environmental Development Corp. (EDC) has issued the 2001 editions of its Environmental and Safety Guides for Vehicle Maintenance and Refueling Operations.
EDC said the handbooks include nearly 1,000 pages of compliance, best management practices and solutions to help firms reduce costs while achieving maximum compliance with Environmental Protection Agency and Occupational Safety and Health Administration rules.
The Findlay-based company also has launched a Web site, www.envirosafeshop.com, and soon plans to publish its Vehicle Maintenance Managers Guide to Environmental Excellence in paperback and on CD-ROM. Another new CD-ROM contains the environmental and safety guide, an audit system and a technician's training program. It is designed for multi-location fleet operations, franchised operations, as well as one-location service shops, the company said, and can be customized for a specific organization and posted to an Intranet.
