RMA to meet in Boca Raton, Fla.
WASHINGTON—The Rubber Manufacturers Association will hold its annual meeting March 4-6 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club in Boca Raton, Fla.
Featured speakers include: Michael Deaver, a political media strategist and expert on presidential leadership; renowned Wall Street analyst Laura Pedersen; political consultant Vin Weber; Thomas Winninger, author of the best-selling books "Price Wars," "Hiring Smart" and "Sell Easy"; and Glenn Mercer of McKinsey & Co., who will speak on the five-year outlook for the automotive industry.

Tech to hold ITRA seminars
JOHNSTOWN, Ohio—Tech International Inc. has partnered with the International Tire & Rubber Association to offer ITRA's Commercial Tire Service Instructor Certification program at Tech's training center in Johnstown.
Tech International's technical trainer, Doug Priest, said the company will conduct its first ITRA course March 11-14, and the ITRA will grade the tests.
Seminars offered in Johnstown will cover the same topics and cost the same as those offered by ITRA in Louisville, Ky., Mr. Priest said. However, payments for the courses will go to ITRA.

Ind., Ill. groups to hold joint show
FAIRLAND, Ind.—The Indiana Tire Dealers & Retreaders Association and the Illinois State Tire Dealers & Retreaders Association will meet March 1-3 for a joint trade show and convention at the Radisson Hotel in Merrillville, Ind.
The convention will feature speeches from Ross Kogel, Tire Association of North America executive vice president, and Bill Pransky, Bridgestone/Firestone Inc.'s general manager of the Midwest region consumer products division.
