RESTON, Va. (Feb. 6, 2001)—The Tire Association of North America has introduced a Dealer-to-Dealer (D2D) Networking Program to help tire dealers exchange marketing, financial and management ideas to boost profitability.
Dealers who sign up for the D2D Program, will be assigned a "partner" —one whose business is similar in size and services but located in another part of the country.
Partner dealers can compare notes on each other´s businesses and exchange information on other common challenges. The program will attempt to match similar businesses not in direct competition with each other.
The relationships remain confidential, and members can sign up as often as they like, TANA said.
Participants will be invited to meet their partners face-to-face at TANA´s Gala Reception, Oct. 30, 2001 in Las Vegas.
