FINDLAY, Ohio—At its recent national sales meeting, held in Delray Beach, Fla., Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. presented awards to several of its regional and territory sales managers and executives.
The following were recognized by the tire maker:
Wayne Hazen, southern region territory sales manager, was named master merchandiser for his work as the best all-around manager of 2000 for the company.
Chad Keller, midwestern regional sales manager, earned regional manager of the year honors.
Kim Jamieson, central region territory sales manager, picked up several awards, including: top volume producer, top passenger tire performer, top radial light truck tire performer, top tube performer, number one producer, and also received the company's outstanding sales growth award for a territory.
Scott Batty, southwestern region territory manager, was named top man on the totem pole.
Leland Duey, western region territory sales manager, received the top radial medium truck tire performer award.
Bob Murphy, midwestern territory sales manager, was named top new account producer.
Bary Peterson, a western region territory sales manager, got rookie of the year honors and received the Pirelli Award. The latter is given to a sales manager who achieves Pirelli tire sales goals with new and existing business and implements Cooper's multi-brand strategy. (Findlay-based Cooper is the exclusive aftermarket sales agent for Pirelli Tire North America.)
John Fahl, Cooper's executive vice president, was presented with the company's iron man award for an employee "who consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty."
