    Scorcher T/A: passenger, high-performance radial with full-depth color tread ribs.

    Galaxy

    Jumbo Hulk: backhoe, L-4 tire.

    Features: designed for especially severe applications, such as scrap yards and demolition sites; extra-deep 50/32-inch tread made of long-wearing, cut-resistant rubber to reduce flats and downtime; increased solid-to-void ratio of 62:38; rim shield protector.

    Size: 19.5L224, tubeless, 14 ply rating.

    Super Industrial Lug: R-4 industrial tractor tire.

    New size: 18.4226, tubeless, 12- ply rating, to fit various European-made backhoes.

    Super Industrial Rib F-3: industrial/agricultural tractor steering tire.

    New size: 14.5/75216.1, tubeless, 10 ply rating.

    Super Loader Giraffe: L-2 loader tire.

    Features: designed for loaders, graders and telescopic handlers; 14- ply rating with high turn-ups for stability; rim shield protector.

    Size: 15.5225, tubeless.

    Trailer Special: highway trailer tire.

    Features: 12 ply rating for extra carrying capacity; more durable than radials on tag-a-long trailers, the company said.

    Size: 235/85D16; the only bias-ply tire of this size, the company said.

    Goodyear

    AS-3A: L-3T, all-season grader radial.

    New size: 17.5R25.

    G286 HSS (Heavy Service Steer): medium truck radial.

    Features: designed for severe service applications involving extreme loads, such as waste hauling; can handle loads of up to 10,200 pounds per tire at 130 psi; 22/32-inch tread with an aggressive design and tough compounds to resist chipping, chunking and rib tear; maximum speed—55 mph.

    Size: 315/80R22.5, load range L.

    RL-5S: L-5S loader/mine radial.

    Features: designed for use in severe rock environments where traction is not an issue; smooth, extra-deep tread formulated for long wear and cut resistance; 250-level tread is 150-percent deeper than a standard L-3 tire; high-tensile-steel belt package resists impacts and cuts.

    Size: 18.00R25.

    RT-4A: E-4T radial for rigid haul trucks.

    Features: lug pattern designed for optimum traction and treadwear, as well as even pressure distribution; wide centerline lugs to enhance rock-cut protection and ride quality; buttressed shoulder lugs resist sidewall cutting.

    Sizes: 18.00R33 available now; additional sizes planned for 2001.

    Hankook

    Dynamic RH03: light truck, all-season radial.

    Features: four-groove/five-rib tread design; variable pitch arrangement of tread elements to reduce noise; "optimum carcass profile technology" to reduce belt-edge strain and extend carcass life; serrated-black-letter or outline-white-letter sidewall styling.

    Sizes: eight 75- and 85-series LT-metric sizes, and 14 70- and 75-series, S-rated P-metric sizes; fits 15- and 16-inch rims.

    Sport IV Radial H714: passenger, performance radial,

    Features: pattern of wide circumferential grooves and lateral grooves to evacuate water and improve grip and braking; two tread pattern variations—the three-groove pattern carries a T or H speed rating and has a black sidewall, while the four-groove pattern is an S-rated P-metric radial with white sidewall styling.

    Sizes: 27 with aspect ratios from 60 to 80, to fit 13- , 14- and 15-inch rims.

    Mastercraft

    Courser MT: light truck, off-road radial.

    Features: high-void, traction tread with deep shoulder and center lugs; tread buttress treatment enhances traction on soft surfaces and in ruts; alternating scalloped shoulder lugs improve self-cleaning and mud traction; pinned for studs; outline-white-letter sidewall styling.

    Sizes: seven LT-metrics and five flotation sizes for 15-inch rims, plus 33212.50R16.5LT.

    Michelin

    XDA-HT High Torque: truck, high-traction drive radial.

    Features: designed for long-haul 624 tractors; tread depth—30/32 inch; solid shoulder design improves wear and stability; open lugs improve cleaning ability and traction; elastic protector ply reduces bruising and crown penetration to the casing plies; "dynamic contrast" sidewall lettering increases driver appeal.

    Sizes: 11R22.5, 11R24.5, 275/80R22.5 and 275/80R24.5, all load range G.

    XDE M/S: truck, multi-purpose drive radial.

    Features: designed for a wide variety of regional applications; wide tread with deep, tapered lateral grooves and offset shoulder blocks to increase traction; curb guards; full-width protector ply; load range H versions also feature a more cut- and chip-resistant tread compound.

    Sizes: 9R22.5, 10R22.5, 11R22.5, 11R24.5 and 275/80R22.5 available now; 12R22.5, 235/80R22.5, 255/80R22.5, 225/70R19.5 and 245/70R19.5 due by September 2001; load ranges from F to H.

    X-One: truck, super-single radial.

    Features: designed to replace dual tire sets with a single tire on tandem-axle tractors and trailers; incorporates "InfiniCoil" technology—a stabilizing belt construction that runs perpendicular to the single radial ply to improve wear and handling; full-width steel belts.

    Size: 445/50R22.5 in two tread patterns—drive (XDA) and trailer (XTA).

    Nankang

    N-310: golf cart, performance tire.

    Features: high-performance-style directional tread; designed for maximum control and low rolling resistance; serrated black sidewall with outline black lettering; tubeless; DOT-approved for highway use.

    Size: 205/50-10, 4-ply rating.

    Teknor Apex

    TA222 Deep: truck, precure tread for over-the-highway applications.

    Features: tread depth—22/32 inch; lug/traction tread design with two solid center running ribs to deliver all-weather traction and high mileage.

    Sizes: three base widths—8 1/4, 8 5/8 and 9 inches.
