OTR conference set for Florida
RESTON, Va.—The Tire Association of North America will hold its annual off-the-road meeting Feb. 15-17 at the Amelia Island Plantation resort near Jacksonville, Fla.
As in years past, the OTR Conference will, TANA said, host more than 300 of the top movers and shakers in the OTR market, provide networking opportunities and highlight the latest market trends.
Pro Football Hall of Famer Bryan Bartlett "Bart" Starr will present the keynote address. Formerly of the Green Bay Packers, Mr. Starr received the NFL's Super Bowl MVP honors twice in his career.

Northwest TDA to host Serumgard
KENNEWICK, Wash.—John Serumgard, executive vice president of the Scrap Tire Management Council and the Rubber Manufacturers Association, will be a keynote speaker when the Northwest Tire Dealers Association meets for its annual convention and trade show.
The NWTDA's gathering will be Feb. 6-8 at the Tacoma Sheraton Hotel in Tacoma, Wash. Seminar topics include Occupational Safety and Health Administration compliance, studded tires, computers and how to satisfy customers. Elections for new officers also will be held.

Maryland dealers to hold cruise
SEVERNA PARK, Md.—The Maryland Tire Dealers Association, in conjunction with the Chesapeake Automotive Wholesalers Association, will hold its second annual "sweetheart cruise," Feb. 9-12.
The three-night cruise will be on Royal Caribbean's Nordic Empress cruise ship. Port of calls include San Juan, Puerto Rico, and St. Thomas and St. Maarten, Virgin Islands.
