CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Nov. 29, 2000) — Continental General Tire Inc. will raise replacement market prices in the U.S. for its Continental, General and private brand passenger car and light truck tires up to 8 percent, effective Jan. 1, according to letters sent to dealers.
