FuelTech Drive: medium truck, precured tread for drive-position tires in over-the-road applications.
Features: 24/32-inch-deep tread with circumferential grooves for water evacuation and warped-wall grooves for stone ejection; semi-closed shoulders improve wear and lower rolling resistance; sipes enhance traction.
Sizes: 200, 210 and 220 mm widths.
FuelTech Trailer: medium truck, precured tread for trailer tires in over-the-road applications.
Features: 12/32-inch-deep tread with wide circumferential grooves for water evacuation and sipes for traction; large, varied groove angles increase tread stability and reduce rolling resistance.
Sizes: 200, 210 and 220 mm widths.
Bandag said the new FuelTech treads incorporate "breakthough technology," including the company's new Synergy rubber compound, that enable them to deliver improved fuel economy without sacrificing traction or treadwear.
In independent tests, Bandag said, the FuelTech treads matched or exceeded the fuel efficiency of comparable Michelin new tires for long-haul applications: the XDA2 drive radial and the XT-1 trailer radial.
R270: medium truck, steer/drive (all-position) radial.
Features: deeper (22/32-inch), rib-style tread for longer wear, especially on the drive position; wide tread surface with deep straight grooves to evacuate water and precisely angled sipes to improve traction; incorporates Bridgestone's "defense groove" design and "equalizer rib" to combat irregular wear; four full steel belts and a steel casing ply to minimize heat build-up to promote long life and retreadability.
Sizes: 295/75R22.5 and 285/ 75R24.5, both load range G.
The company calls the R270 the first "true" steer/drive radial. It is designed for fleets that want to simplify tire inventories and rotation programs by standardizing on a single pattern and size.
Discoverer S/T: light truck, off-road radial.
Features: large, beefy tread elements with beveled edges to fight irregular wear and aid in self cleaning; deep (15/32-20/32 inch, depending on size) tread and scalloped shoulder design enhance traction on soft surfaces; pinned for studs; raised outline white letters on most sizes.
Sizes: 16, to fit 15- and 16-inch rims, including five S-rated, P-metric sizes; eight LT-metric sizes; and three flotation sizes.
Premium Skid Trax: skid-steer tire, tube-type.
Features: designed for mining, construction, quarrying, forestry and agricultural applications; heavy-duty reinforced sidewalls with a rim-guard protector; constructed to withstand high-torque stress.
Sizes: 10-16.5, 10-ply rating; 12-16.5, 12-ply rating.
G164 RTD: truck, traction drive radial for regional applications (RTD=Regional Traction Drive).
Features: 24/32-inch non-skid tread for longer life; traction block tread design with full-depth grooves and sipes to retain aggressive traction throughout the tread life; shoulder tire bars to resist hi/lo lug wear; stone ejectors in the tread grooves.
Sizes: 295/75R22.5, 285/75R24.5, 11R22.5 and 11R24.5, all load range G; 11R22.5 and 10.00R20, load range H.
Wingfoot DTR: medium truck, drive traction radial (DTR).
Features: designed for cost-conscious customers; open-shoulder lug for traction in all road conditions; 22/32-inch non-skid tread; shoulder tie bars stabilize the contact area and reduce uneven wear; all-steel casing and belt package.
Sizes: 295/75R22.5 available immediately; 11R22.5, 11R24.5 and 285/75R24.5 to be available soon; all are load range G.
The Wingfoot DTR replaces the Goodyear G124.
Road Venture ST: light truck, touring performance all-season radial.
Features: S and T speed ratings; UTQG rating—420 AB; large, stable tread blocks combined with multiple lateral grooves and sipes promote stability, grip and all-season traction; nylon belt-edge strip and sidewall reinforcement enhance high-speed stability and durability; outline white letter sidewall reverses to serrated black lettering.
Sizes: 13 50- to 70-series, P-metric sizes to fit 14- and 15-inch rims.
Bossman L-4+: skid-steer tire for severe service.
