For the 15th consecutive year, contestants in the Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills competition, held recently in Washington, D.C., used scan tools made by OTC for the troubleshooting segment of the contest. The newest piece of equipment student techs from across the country got to use was the company's Genisys (insert), which functions with an internal operating system but also can communicate with personal computers, according to OTC, a unit of SPX Corp.
