AKRON (June 30, 2000)—Tire uniformity issues, including the controversial role of Hunter Engineering´s GSP 9700 Vibration Control System wheel balancer in tire warranty adjustment claims, will be addressed during the International Tire Exposition and Conference in Akron, Sept. 12-14, in Akron.
A session entitled "Tire Uniformity—The Bar Has Been Raised" is scheduled from 1:30 to 4 p.m., Sept. 14, the final day of the gathering.
Representatives of Hunter Engineering as well as several auto manufacturers are expected to take part.
The two-day technical conference, held in Akron´s John S. Knight Center, is sponsored by Rubber & Plastics News, a sister publication of Tire Business.
